Daily Prayer

Each day we offer a different verse from The Thirty Seven Practices of Bodhisattvas, by Ngulchu Thogme Zangpo, as a suggested practice.

Here is today’s verse:

37. To remove the suffering of limitless beings, Understanding the purity of the three spheres, Dedicate the virtue from making such effort to enlightenment — This is the practice of Bodhisattvas.

Verses From The Dhammapada, The spoken words of the Buddha

403. Him I call indeed a Brahmana whose knowledge is deep, who possesses wisdom, who knows the right way and the wrong, and has attained the highest end. 404. Him I call indeed a Brahmana who keeps aloof both from laymen and from mendicants, who frequents no houses, and has but few desires. 405. Him I call indeed a Brahmana who finds no fault with other beings, whether feeble or strong, and does not kill nor cause slaughter.
